Breading
- 1-1/2 tsp black pepper
- 3/8 tsp garlic powder
- 3/16 tsp sage
- 3/16 tsp coriander
- 3/16 tsp ground ginger
- 3/16 tsp cayenne pepper
- 3/32 tsp ground clove
- 3/32 tsp allspice
- 3/32 tsp savory
- 1/20 tsp marjoram
- 1/20 tsp thyme
- 5 tsp salt
Mix seasoning with 6:1 ratio flour (1 ¼ cups) and cornstarch (¼ cup)
Dunk chicken in egg wash, then flour/seasoning mix. Deep fry at 375 for 5 minutes (dark meat chicken thighs - recipe enough for 8 thighs). Also works great for taters (same method and time)
