Beer Bread

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 bottle of beer - coors light, bud light, steamwhistle
  • 1/8 cup butter

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350'F -Mix flour, sugar and baking powder in a large bowl. Make a "well" in the centre.
  2. Slowy pour the whole bottle of beer into the well. Slowly stir the mixture together until just combined. The mixture will become sticky on the inside, but flour and dried bits will be on the bottom of the bowl.
  3. Pick the dough up in one hand, and use the other hand to tip out the remaining flour and dough from the bowl onto the counter. Knead bread on flour 10 times.
  4. Grease a small loaf pan. Shape dough into pan. Bruce top of dough with melted butter.
  5. Bake for 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack
