New York Cheesecake

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablesppon vanilla
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 eggs

 

Crust

  1. Mix crumbs, sugar and butter.
  2. Press onto bottom of 9 inch springform pan
  3. Bake at 325'F for 10 minutes if using a silver springform pan. Bake at 300'F for 10 minutes if using a dark non-stick springform pan.

 

Filling

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar, flour and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.
  2. Blend in sour cream.
  3. Add eggs, mixing on low speed
  4. Pour over crust

 

Bake at 325'F (silver pan) or 300'F (black pan) for 65-70 minutes. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
